You're Invited to the 6th Annual Greenville Tech
FIRST Robotics Pre-Ship date Scrimmage

Participants: All 25 SC teams are invited

What:
These 25 high school/college/industrial robotics teams have been working very hard for six weeks to design, build, troubleshoot, and test their robots to compete in the regional and national FIRST Robotics competitions during March and April.

Why:
This scrimmage is set-up to:

• Allow teams a full size practice field and opportunity to work out some of the flaws in their equipment as well as to experience some pre-competition practice matches.
• Showcase their hard work to their families, sponsors, and the public.

When:
Saturday, February 19 th , 2005 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

J. Harley Bonds Career Center (The scrimmage will be in the gym.)

Directions:

From I-85: Take exit 56 from I-85 onto Hwy 14 west towards Greer. Pass through downtown Greer on Main St . One block prior to Wade Hampton Blvd (Hwy 29), on the left hand side will be the Career Center . Drive around back.(Don't use the entrance that we used last year, use the new ramp at the other end of the gym.

From Wade Hampton Blvd. (Hwy 29) north - Once you see the water tower in Greer and pass the hospital on the right, turn right at the second traffic light onto Hwy 14( S. Main St. ) east towards downtown Greer. The career center will be in one block on your right.

From Wade Hampton Blvd. (Hwy 29) south - Wal-Mart Super Center will be on your left about 2 miles before Main St . 1½ block before Main St. on left is an Auto Zone parts store. One block before Main St. there will be a Sherwin Williams paint store on the right and a Pledges supermarket on the left. At the intersection of S. Main St. (Hwy 14) there will be a Super China Buffet on left on corner. Turn left here and head towards downtown Greer. The career center will be in one block on your right.
